Not really, the major problems are really wrapped into the core engine and design.By editing default.ini, you can change the ammo usage which helps if you find the universal ammo annoying. You can also increase damage done to yourself and enemies, if you want to move closer to the OHKO environment of Deus Ex realistic; even on realistic, you are really too durable, due to poor implementation of damage in the game design (late game has some silly, relatively OP enemies in an attempt to make up the fact that this + poor AI = destroyed difficulty curve).
