My suggestion would be to call Sony and ask them about this. I have seen some devices fail on USB3 bus due to timing and signaling issue but if you say that every single device fails then there is something major going on at the hardware level.Because USB 3.0 is 10 times faster, a major issue has been loss of signal integrity over longer cable lengths.To compensate for a long trace between the USB 3.0 controller and connector, some OEMs use a booster chip called redriver in between. Hardware Verifier shows Device Qualifier Descriptor failure with control transfererror and nothing else.The mobile is old and even discontinued so it is not possible for me to notify the manufacturer for updated driver.I think Microsoft needs to solve this USB 3.0 issue at earliest.
